Author M. C Ronen (New Zealand Vegan and activist Maya Cohen-Ronen) will share her journey to veganism, animal rights activism, and to becoming a celebrated author of vegan fiction books, which she sees as an extension of her activism.
Guest Speaker bio:
Maya Cohen-Ronen (pen name M. C Ronen) is a New Zealand based vegan since 2012 and animal rights activist. She is one of the founding organisers of the Wellington chapter of the Animal Save Movement, and partakes in slaughterhouse vigils, animal rights marches, street outreach (Make the Connection and previously AV), protests and disruptions.
Maya is a feminist and author of ‘The Liberation Trilogy’ (‘THE SHED’, ‘LIBERATION’ and ‘IT WAS IN OUR HANDS’), a thrilling dystopian suspense series with a strong vegan message, that is sure to leave you at the edge of your seat.
