Animal Agriculture and the Global Environmental Impact
« Dr. Mehta will review the science regarding the tremendous ecological impact on climate, land, water, and biodiversity from animal agriculture, as compared to whole plant foods as staple foods. Animal agriculture is also the most likely cause of COVID-19 and puts us at high risk for future pandemics. Food security and food justice are intertwined concepts as he will also discuss, along with the nutrition benefits of whole plant foods. All scientific references will be made available.
