Présence antispéciste à l’expo agricole de Saint-Hyacinthe
« Militant.es antispécistes, abolitionnistes et véganes, soyons nombreux.ses les 30 juillet et 6 août prochain devant l’entrée de la 185e édition de l’exposition agricole de Saint-Hyacinthe pour manifester notre désaccord à la tenue de la plus grosse exposition promouvant l’exploitation animale au Québec.
Avec plus de 1000 animaux de la ferme, des manèges, des jeux à thématique agricole, des concours de beauté d’animaux, des ateliers de traite de vaches, du rodéo, des démonstrations équines, entre autres, il est évident que l’industrie se sert de ce genre d’exposition pour dorer l’image de l’agriculture animale au Québec. Il n’y a absolument rien de familial, plaisant et humain à venir voir des animaux exploités.
Suite à deux éditions annulées à cause de la pandémie, les organisateur.trices espèrent 200 000 personnes cette année, c’est pourquoi il est important de se faire voir et entendre.
Rejoignez-nous dès 10h et jusqu’à 20h près du 2670 av. Beauparlant à Saint-Hyacinthe.
Venez vêtu de noir, apportez de l’eau et votre lunch.

Antispeciesist, abolitionist and vegan activists, let’s be there in large numbers on July 30th and August 6th in front of the entrance to the 185th edition of the Saint-Hyacinthe agricultural exhibition to demonstrate our disagreement with the holding of the largest exhibition promoting animal exploitation in Quebec.
With more than 1000 farm animals, rides, games with an agricultural theme, animal beauty contests, cow milking workshops, rodeo, equine demonstrations, among others, it is obvious that the industry uses this kind of exhibition to gild the image of animal agriculture in Quebec. There is absolutely nothing familiar, pleasant or humane about coming to see animals being exploited.
After two editions were cancelled due to the pandemic, the organizers are hoping for 200,000 people this year, which is why it is important to be seen and heard.
Join us from 10am to 8pm near 2670 Beauparlant Ave. in Saint-Hyacinthe.
Come dressed in black, bring water and lunch.
