Rooster Workshop, Part 1: The Basics
«At this workshop for staff and volunteers at sanctuaries, you will learn essential facts about roosters as well as the time-tested methods used by VINE Sanctuary to maintain healthy flocks in which multiple roosters flourish.
This free educational event is offered by The Rooster Project in coordination with the Global Coalition of Farm Sanctuaries.
This is part one of a two part series. Part two will cover the rehabilitation of fighting roosters as well as tips for solving the most common problems that can arise with roosters of any kind.
By attending these workshops, you will become better able to respond to the ongoing surge in roosters needing refuge, both by expanding the number of roosters at your sanctuary and by becoming better able to offer advice to people who want to surrender roosters due to behavior problems.
