How To Use The Law To Help Animals
« USING THE LAW TO PROTECT ANIMALS , WITH ADVOCATES FOR ANIMALS.
Whilst there is a significant body of legislation that protects animals in the UK, there are still serious concerns over its adequacy and the enforcement of it (or lack of). We are delighted to have as our guest speaker solicitor Edie Bowles, the managing director of Advocates for Animals, the UK’s first animal protection law firm, who will talk about ways the law can be used to address such concerns
Edie has advised almost all of the main animal protection organisations, smaller organisations and individuals across all animal protection law and campaigning. She often speaks on animal protection issues and has done so in the UK Parliament, the French Sénat and the East African Legislative Assembly.
